Photograph the movement of everyday life, human interactions, and fleeting encounters on the streets of Istanbul through direct observation. This guided photo walk is designed for photographers of all experience levels who want to work with greater awareness, responsiveness, and confidence on the street. During the walk, I will share my working method and demonstrate how I observe the street, recognize situations as they develop, build a frame while waiting for the right moment, and bring visual order to complex scenes. As we work with light, movement, distance, timing, and composition, you will receive individual guidance and direct feedback tailored to your photographs, experience, and interests. During the photo walk, we will focus on: * Recognizing natural, unstaged moments * Observing the street and anticipating developing situations * Improving timing and photographic reflexes * Organizing the frame in crowded and complex environments * Using light, shadow, color, movement, and layers together * Choosing camera settings that support the intended photograph * Photographing in public spaces with greater ease and confidence This walk focuses on observing Istanbul’s constantly changing character, positioning yourself effectively, and responding to unfolding situations with a photographic reflex. The aim is not only to produce strong images during the walk, but also to develop a more deliberate and consistent working method that you can continue to apply independently.
