Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how bikadro.com ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. You may register using an email address or a Google account. For email signups, we collect your email address and verify it with a one-time code. For Google signups, we receive your name and email address from Google, and store OAuth tokens internally for authentication purposes only — these are never exposed through the API.
Profile information. Photographers may voluntarily provide a bio, profile photo, city, social media links, and portfolio images. Profile photos and portfolio images are stored on Azure Blob Storage. Photographers also provide geographic coordinates used for map-based search.
Booking data. We store details of sessions you book or offer, including dates, cities, and notes submitted at booking time.
Phone number. We collect and verify your phone number via Twilio. A client's phone number is shared with the photographer only after a booking is confirmed, through a secure channel. Phone numbers are never stored in notification records.
IP address. We record your IP address at the time of account creation.
Usage data. We collect standard log data such as browser type and pages visited.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the platform
- Connect clients with photographers
- Process and manage bookings
- Send you notifications about your bookings and account
- Prevent fraud and ensure safety
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information We Share
We share your information only in the following cases:
- Between users: A client's name and phone number are shared with the photographer upon booking confirmation through a secure channel. Phone numbers are never stored in notification records.
- Service providers: We use third-party services including Google OAuth (authentication), Twilio (phone verification), and Azure (file storage and hosting). These providers are bound by data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Reviews
After a completed session, clients may leave a rating and written review. On public display, client names appear as first name only, or as initials (e.g. F.L.), to protect client privacy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Note that for audit and referential integrity purposes, deleted records are soft-deleted — they are marked as inactive and excluded from all platform views, but retained in our systems.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@bikadro.com to exercise these rights.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification.
