Bahar Cömert is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst from İstanbul- Turkey. She is founder and curator of @dreaminstreets. She is a "dreamcatcher, storyteller, who appreciates all art forms, especially photography, believing that everything is a matter of perspective and can be reframed. She finds "the irrational"yet "meaningful" nature of dreams on the streets. For her; Street is Unconscious; Photographer is the Unintended Psychoanalyst and Moment is the interpretation. Images are surreal moments, chance encounters, dreamlike scenes. She says "Dreams wander in the evening fog; I hold my camera into that fog.”
