Murat Harmanlikli
Murat Harmanlıklı is an Istanbul-based street photographer whose work explores the subtle relationships between people, light, and urban life. His photography is driven by observation, patience, and an instinct for finding extraordinary moments within everyday life. Working primarily in the streets of Istanbul, he creates poetic visual narratives that balance humor, emotion, and ambiguity while reflecting the city's ever-changing rhythm. His photographs often reveal unexpected connections, fleeting gestures, layers of meaning that emerge from ordinary scenes. Rather than documenting the city, he seeks to capture its atmosphere, inviting viewers to slow down and rediscover the poetry hidden in everyday life.
Valéria Cunha
Portuguese Photographer and curator. She develops her photographic work through a continuous search for meaning within the urban environment and the quiet poetry of places once considered ordinary. Her gaze moves between unfamiliar cityscapes and subtle everyday moments, revealing rhythms, textures and gestures that often go unnoticed. For her, photography is a form of engagement with life itself, a space where narratives intersect and emotion takes visual form. Working across street, documentary and travel photography, she explores both the vibrancy of colour and the emotional depth of black and white.
Gülhan Yıldız
I am a street photographer based in Ankara, Türkiye. For me, photography is not merely a means of creating images but a way of witnessing people’s everyday lives, the spirit of cities, and the moments that often go unnoticed. I am particularly drawn to documenting spontaneous encounters, human relationships, and the natural stories that unfold in public spaces. In my work, I strive to maintain a balance between light, composition, and emotional storytelling. My goal is to reveal the universal emotions hidden within seemingly ordinary moments and invite viewers to see their own lives from a different perspective.

A former member of the Italian collective Spontanea, he was a winner of the Leica Talent Award in 2014. He currently teaches at Officine Fotografiche in Rome and Leica Akademie Italy. Through exhibitions, books, workshops, and long-term projects, he approaches photography as both testimony and a lasting physical encounter.

A graduate of Anadolu University’s Photography and Camerawork program, his work has earned recognition through publications, exhibitions, and competitions. Guided by observation, instinct, timing, and composition, he photographs candid encounters, movement, and unexpected relationships in everyday urban life.
Hakan Biyiklioglu

Giedo van der Zwan
Giedo van der Zwan (1967) is a Dutch street photographer whose work combines humor, color and a positive view of humanity. Originally trained as an economist, he found his purpose in photography and discovered street photography in 2017. He photographs people up close, often using flash, with a sharp eye for visual puns, subtle absurdities and unexpected connections between people and their surroundings. His layered and carefully timed images have earned international awards. His work has been exhibited widely in Europe and beyond. In 2018, his self-published photobook 'Pier to Pier' gained international recognition. In 2024, he founded @shootwithalocal.
Laura Leijnen
I am a French-Belgian photographer based near Paris. I capture spontaneous moments of everyday life. My eye is especially drawn to dynamic scenes—preferably in bustling environments—but I’ve come to appreciate quieter scenes just as much. I love spending time with my pictures afterwards: listening to them, discovering connections between photographs that seem completely unrelated, and seeing what new stories emerge from them. Making sense of my pictures and projects is, in many ways, also a way of making sense of the world around me—and of myself.
Sebastian Piatek
Sebastian Piatek was born in Poland in 1982 and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany. A self-taught photographer, he works primarily in street photography and has been traveling full-time for the past few years.

She is also the founder of @mystreet_bnw and @mystreet_women, platforms created to connect, support, and promote photographers worldwide.
Tamas Dragon

Jair Hernandez
I'm mexican with passion for street and documentary photography. I spent a decade in Panama, where I found in photography a form of meditation, a way to immerse in the present moment and uncover the artistry in everyday candid scenes. I capture also compelling portraits of strangers. Embracing the vibrant colors that define my native Mexico City, I transitioned from BNW to color photography.
Deva Akman
Wedding & Portrait Photographer
Sonia Simbolo
Sonia Simbolo is a freelance photographer based in Rome, finding in street photography the meeting point between her work and passion. Working in event and portrait photography, she has learned to look at everyday life through changing perspectives: the street has taught her the freedom to express herself without fear, exploring different ways to observe and interpret the world around her. Her gaze embraces both the world and her inner universe. As poet Hugo von Hofmannsthal wrote: “we discover in the world only what we already have within ourselves; but we need the world to discover what lies within ourselves.”
Márcia Celjar
Brazilian street photographer based in Rio de Janeiro. Internationally exhibited and awarded. Photo walk leader and curator, helping photographers experience the city beyond its landmarks.
Yorumlar
“I booked a photo walk with Marcia, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. I’ve been a street photographer for many years and have photographed in quite a few countries that I know well. But I have to admit that, before coming to Rio, I felt a little apprehensive because of everything you hear about safety. From the very beginning, Marcia made me feel completely at ease. Not only did I feel safe walking around with her, but she took me to places I would never have dared to explore on my own. She also helped me interact with Cariocas, which made the experience much more spontaneous and authentic. What I particularly appreciated was that Marcia didn’t simply show me around. She shared her experience as a photographer and gave me both technical and artistic advice about the images I could make. It was incredibly enriching. Even though I have a lot of experience in street photography myself, I think it’s always valuable to step outside your comfort zone and see things differently. Thanks to Marcia, I was able to move away from my usual way of photographing and experiment with a different approach. I’m very grateful to her for this wonderful experience and would warmly recommend her to anyone who wants to discover Rio through photography — whether you are an experienced photographer or simply someone who wants to see the city from a different perspective.”
“A wonderful experience! We went on an inspiring photo walk with Marcia. We started very early in the morning and she took us to some sensational spots along Rio’s city beaches that exude a unique sunrise atmosphere. Marcia showed us lots of beautiful, authentic corners of Rio de Janeiro and knew exactly when and where the light would be at its best. Her open, positive personality made us feel right at home straight away. A brilliant street photographer with a real passion for her work – highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Rio through the lens.”
“Marcia is the most energetic photographer I've ever met. He knows the area, its people and the local dynamics perfectly. His enthusiasm is totally contagious. Thanks to his guide, I discovered an authentic Rio de Janeiro that I would never have found on my own. An unbeatable street photography experience !”
“I had a lovely photowalk with Marcia. She's a skilled and passionate street photographer and very generous about sharing her knowledge and love for beautiful Rio! Highly recommended and I can't wait to be back for another photography experience.”
